High quality lighting during the first few weeks of a plant's growth provides the greatest impact on many critical qualities, especially rooting. A very high value is added per light due to the concentration of plants.

A new technique to trigger the prioritization of rooting in plugs has demonstrated profound success in limited testing. 16W TG1B Pure Flowering 200 Lamps, which have improved upon the former generation of Night & Day Management Light bulbs that covered 100 sq ft each have been successfully used to trigger rooting in as little as 1/3 of the time with daylength extension lighting.

In a controlled experiment, our Vanda seedlings grew larger and stronger than seedlings grown under natural light. In some instances as much as 40% increase in mass was observed.
