Applications

Every application is unique, and our lighting experts will gladly provide you with a detailed, custom light plan based on your crops, facility, utility incentives, budget, and other factors. General approaches include:

Indoor Cannabis Flowering

High-yield strains in an optimized environment should be grown with 4’x4’ per Mult-HI 720, at least 6 inches above the crop, whether single or multi-tier. Lower intensity approaches, such as grow rooms without CO2 enrichment, should utilize 5’x5’ Mult-HI 720 spacing at least 15 inches above the crop or 4’x4’ Mult-HI 480 spacing at least 6 inches up.

Indoor Cannabis Vegetative

4’x4’ per Mult-HI 480 is excellent. For a lower intensity approach, 5’x5’ Mult-HI 480 spacing or 4’x4’ Mult-HI 340 spacing is a quality, moderate approach especially appropriate for shorter veg cycles.

Low-Height, High-Intensity Applications

Mult-HI lights can also be used when high intensities are needed with minimal overhead space with which to work, e.g. tall, high-light crops on greenhouse benches.
